Who is Edition EKTAlux?
Edition EKTAlux is a curated photography e-gallery offering an evolving selection of original large scale photography prints in limited signed editions.
Edition EKTAlux is based in San Francisco and Düsseldorf - where free local delivery is available.
What is a limited edition?
A limited edition print guarantees there is only a fixed number of artworks available within the worldwide art market. Each Edition EKTAlux print is hand-signed and numbered by the artist, certifying authenticity and adding value to each original photograph.
Edition numbers are quoted next to each image selection.
Artwork prints come with a certificate of authenticity [signed and numbered by the artist] to keep on file or attach to your framed artwork. Artwork can be signed on print face upon request.
Where are the photo prints made?
All limited edition photographic prints are produced under strict artist supervision. We work with leading photography labs in San Francisco, New York City and Düsseldorf and in close collaboration with experienced art framers to guarantee museum level archival artwork print and framing quality.
How about custom print sizes?
Custom print sizes are available upon request.
All featured images can be printed up to a print height of 60" / 150cm.
Upon request, we can create a mock up of the artwork in place - just email us a phone photo of the planned hanging location and we can digitally "drop in" various print/frame options for consideration.
What about custom framing options?
All edition prints are available modern frameless [mounted behind acrylic glass]. Custom wood framing is available upon request.
We work with art framers in different metropolitan markets and can help finding local framing services reflecting our quality standards. Upon check out, choose Print Only with a note requesting custom frame quote.
When will I receive my order?
Print production takes approximately 5 business days.
Once the print is securely packaged, it will ship the same day and you will receive detailed tracking information.
For framed prints, please note that frame building will add an additional 10-14 production days for framing and crating, depending on the individual art framer's schedule.
What about shipping and handling?
All Edition EKTAlux orders are shipped in protective art packaging with shipping insurance against damage/loss.
For US deliveries Edition EKTAlux applies the following flat shipping rates:

$280.00 Framed Artwork [ Flat Crate Shipping ]
For orders with multiple works of art of different sizes, only the flat rate for the largest artwork will be charged.
Do you ship internationally?
Artwork can be shipped worldwide. Please contact us for a detailed quote for international shipping and handling.
Please note that shipments outside the US or EU may be subject to customs fees and/or import taxes.
What forms of payment are accepted?
Edition EKTAlux is accepting Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover and Diners Club via Stripe secure payment services.
Please contact us for instructions for check, bank check or wire transfer payments. Orders will not be processed until payment is received.
How about the return policy?
Edition EKTAlux artwork is printed and framed on demand, making each print a custom order, therefore we cannot honor refunds on the basis of change of mind or wrong judgement.
We ask that you choose carefully - and take advantage of our free consultation services for image selection, print size and framing options.
What about artwork damaged in transit?
All Edition EKTAlux orders are shipped in protective art packaging with shipping insurance against damage/loss.
In the rare case of artwork damage during transport, please contact us immediately - no later than 36 hours after receipt.
Edition EKTAlux will arrange for return of the damaged artwork and a replacement will be dispatched as soon as possible. Should a replacemnet not be available, a full refund will be issued.
